Contract Duration: 3 to 6 months
Pay Rate: £144.12 per day (£20.58 per hour)


Job Description:

The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and proactive Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join their team. This role involves delivering an integrated and customer-focused housing management service to tenants and leasehold customers, ensuring the Council meets its legal and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Housing Service Delivery: Provide a proactive and customer-focused housing management service across a designated area.
Estate Management: Act as a regular and visible presence on estates, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained. Provide advice, information, and reports on housing management matters.
Community Engagement: Work closely with other teams, councillors, and Tenants & Residents Associations to achieve sustainable tenancies and communities.
Vulnerable Residents Support: Support the Neighbourhood Housing Team in delivering services tailored to vulnerable residents.
Requirements:

This is an office-based position with required site visits to properties for inspections and tenancy checks (no option to work from home).
Strong motivation and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
