Are you passionate about continuous improvement and dedicated to making a positive impact? If so , we are looking for experienced professionals to join our Improvement, Performance and Engagement Team (IPET)

The IPET is a multi-disciplinary team whose purpose is to turn information into intelligence to improve performance and outcomes for children and families.

This vacancy is for a two-year fixed term contract and will initially support the development of our Family Hubs.

Main Responsibilities

You will:

  • work as part of a team to support the Continuous Improvement Partners (CIP) in providing guidance and support on continuous improvement activity across the Children and Families system; and ensure that we are joined up in delivery.
  • take the responsibility for the delivery of a discrete area of the team’s operations such as policy and procedure management, project management approach, or auditing.
  • will play an important role in the development, design and delivery and quality assurance of major change and improvement programmes.
  • develop strong and effective relationships with directorate colleagues, senior colleagues and partners to ensure we deliver continuous improvement the improves outcomes for service users and supports us to achieve our one system vision.

This is a pivotal role in ensuring we continue to improve the quality and efficiency of our services to improve the outcomes of children, young people and families.

The Ideal Candidate

You will :

  • be keen to make a positive difference for children and families.
  • strike the right balance between coaching and supporting colleagues and providing challenge and support to continually improve.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Collaboration: you will need the ability to engage & build relationships with people from a range of backgrounds and you’ll have experience of working with partnerships with good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Influence: have the ability challenge and influence performance using data and intelligence with a clear focus on outcomes & impact for our children and families
  • Facilitation: have strong facilitation skills and be an advocate for co-production to ensure community engagement and commitment
  • Organisation: have strong project and programme management experience
  • Committed – you will be able to work effectively as part of the team to deliver our objectives and outcomes, with a high level of personal drive and integrity, and be committed to proactively solving problems and developing innovative solutions to improve outcomes for our children and families.
