Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will initially focus on managing our sales operations, driving B2B sales, and building a high-performing sales team. After a few months, the role will evolve to appointing distributors and shifting our focus from B2B to B2Distributor (B2D) sales. This position offers a starting salary of £30,000 with additional commission based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the sales team.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive B2B sales.
• Train, mentor, and support sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
• Transition the sales focus from direct B2B to B2D, appointing and managing distributors.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of B2B and B2D sales processes and strategies.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales management.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
