Crynodeb
The Recruitment Co are currently looking for a Semi Skilled Metalworker to work for a bespoke engineering company in Washington, working on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay: £12.74 to £15.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday 0745-1630, Friday 0745-1300 - 38.25 hours per week
The company work with a variety of materials including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Check all materials, profiles and items of equipment are correct to the drawings/specifications prior to commencing work
- Mart out, cut, shear, form, drill, bend and prep required items prior to assembly
- Assembly by welding, riveting or bolting (approx. 90% will be mild steel mig welding)
- Dress and finish in accordance with customer requirements, removing all burrs
- Fully inspect own work, recording all data by ticking all dimensions, notes and instructions on the drawing prior to handing over to the manager or his deputy for final inspection
The Ideal Candidate: - Must be able to demonstrate a strong background in mid welding, tig and stick are beneficial
- Pays attention to detail and has pride in the work they produce
- Has the ability to read and understand drawings
