(18-month fixed term contract)
The Estates Evangelism Task Group (EETG) was convened by the Church of England to oversee the development and awareness raising of estates evangelism and ministry. The Group is chaired by the Church of England’s Lead Bishop for Estates Evangelism, the Bishop of Barking, The Rt Revd Lynne Cullens. EETG is inviting applications for this important role.
Working hours: Part Time- 17.5 Hours per week.
Ideally over 2.5 days other working patterns may be considered in line with the requirements of the role
Salary: £20,000 (FTE 40,000) Subject to qualifications and experience.
Benefits: We offer a range of benefits including hybrid and flexible working, 11% non-contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday (15 days pro rata) rising to 29 (17.5 days pro rata) after five years’ service.
ROLE DUTIES
•To Support the Chair and members of the national Church of England Estates Evangelism Task Group (EETG) in working with Bishops, Diocesan Focal Lead representatives, National Church Institutions and partner organisations to seek the provision of sufficient diocesan resources (finances and people) to deliver the EETG strategy.
•To contribute, via continued delivery of the Estates Evangelism Strategy and the facilitation of the network of Diocesan Estates Focal Leads to there being 20% of the envisioned10,000 new worshipping communities based on estates and low-income communities.
•Act as the secretariat to the EETG, including scheduling and organising meetings, conferences, preparing papers, managing IT set up, minuting meetings and track meeting actions.
•Produce and maintain relevant project plans, data sets, risk registers, issues logs, lessons learnt, funding reports and other project related documents
CRITERIA
•Professional qualification/experience relevant to the role or education to degree level.
•Relevant experience of project management and proven experience in delivering projects and campaigns to time and quality or other relevant experience with the capability to do so.
•Proven track record in building and maintain a network of strategic relationships
•Excellent IT competency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
