Service Care Solutions is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Lead ICT Architect to join the Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ). This role is vital in ensuring that our infrastructure systems and services are designed securely and efficiently.
Role Overview:- Title: ICT Lead Architect
- Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension subject to approval)
- Location: Various UK sites (travel required)
- Security Clearance: SC with STRAP required
As a Lead ICT Architect, you will support the Senior Architect (Chief Technical Architect) by providing enterprise design and support expertise for a range of ICT projects. Your role is critical in maintaining secure and efficient infrastructure systems for Counter Terrorism Policing. Key Responsibilities:
- Design Solutions: Document current "As-Is" and future "To-Be" designs for various projects, creating architecture diagrams and data sets to communicate changes effectively.
- Strategic Alignment: Work across multiple projects to ensure all systems align with the strategic vision and document any technical debt.
- Technical Validation: Identify and execute technical experiments to validate design decisions.
- Governance and Reporting: Ensure all architectural dependencies between projects are understood, documented, and accepted.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Training and Development: Create and deliver training material, and coach and develop team members to meet operational plans.
- Security Expertise: Experience with Government Security Classifications and the Cabinet Office Security Policy Framework.
- Architectural Frameworks: Proficient in designing systems using TOGAF.
- Methodologies: Understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
- Documentation: Ability to write design documentation for accreditation up to IL5 and work with accreditors to meet security standards.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Microsoft Environment: Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, GPO, High Availability services, Windows desktop/VDI, Certificates and PKI design, RSA Tokens.
- Network Infrastructure: Cisco Routing/Switches, TCP/IP, Network Services (DNS/DHCP/NTP), Intrusion Protection/Detection.
- Cloud Services: AWS (Well-Architected Framework, Landing Zones), AzureAD, Office 365 Services.
- Virtualization: VMware.
- Software Solutions: .NET (VB, C#, ASP.NET, .NET CORE), MVC Framework, Python, JavaScript (REACT, Bootstrap Frameworks), SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Business Processes: Documenting processes using BPMN or similar frameworks.
- Project Management: Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Certifications: TOGAF qualification and ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification.
- Driving License: UK full driving license.
