An excellent opportunity for an experienced Legionella Maintenance Plumber in Birmingham,Walsall,Wolverhampton,Leicester and Coventry. You will join the Mobile division to ensure all preplanned and reactive maintenance tasks are carried out.

This is a Monday to Friday position working a 40 hour week, In return you will receive:

  • Salary up to £30,000 - £34,279per annum
  • Monday to Friday(8AM-5PM) 40 hours per week
  • Over time available
  • 23+ 8 days' holidays
  • Tools provided,No call outs rota
  • Parking on site, free parking available
  • DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 in plumbing and Legionella experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.

Duties / Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to carry out non-technical repairs and minor PPM's in planned and reactive maintenance at various sites. Basic plumbing, working with air handling units and heating and hot water.

  • Stay updated on regulations and best practices related to legionella prevention and plumbing maintenance.
  • L8, temp testing, water testing.Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on plumbing fixtures, pipes, fittings, and appliances.
  • Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies such as leaks, clogs, or broken pipes.
  • Test water quality and temperature to ensure compliance with legionella prevention guidelines.
  • Implement and maintain water management programs to prevent legionella growth and contamination.
  • Monitor and maintain water temperatures at appropriate levels to inhibit legionella bacteria.
  • Conduct flushing and disinfection of water systems as per legionella control protocols.
  • Collaborate with other facility maintenance staff to ensure overall safety and functionality of plumbing systems.
  • Document and report maintenance activities and legionella control measures.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Services or Equivalent
  • Worked on Mechanical Systems, DHW, LPHW, CHW , Ventilation Systems
  • Previous Pipe Fitting Duties
  • Worked on Steam Systems
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Water temperature checks
  • Fire alarm testing
