You should be an exceptional practitioner, qualified to level 3 who can support high-quality playing, learning and care to the young children and their families who choose our nursery. You should bring experience, energy and enthusiasm to the role.
To be successful you must have the ability to read a 10 page story book with 4 interruptions a page, upside down. If a child requests that you are a driver of a train, dragon or a fairy, you must be the best driver, dragon or fairy you can possibly be. The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, but sometimes you may need to dance to imaginary music. You must be prepared to eat play dough cookies realistically and be willing to drink many cups of imaginary tea. Counting moving small people quickly is essential.
In return we will offer you: -
• Supportive and forward-thinking colleagues within nursery, school and the MAT as a whole
• Good induction and training opportunities
• Staff discount scheme
• Enthusiastic, well-behaved children, supportive parents
