We are looking for a dynamic leader, who is passionate about quality, patient-centred care, and our people. You will work closely with the wider MDT to support the operational running of the department while also driving improvement across the clinical services.

The Assistant General Manager in Uro-Oncology is an exciting role, providing key operational leadership across 3 different tumour sites (prostate, bladder and renal). The successful candidate will be expected to drive forward cancer performance improvement in Urology, implementing new transformation initiatives whilst maintaining a strong handle on key performance metrics. They will identify opportunities for improvement and growth, and contribute towards business planning and strategy for the service. The department’s portfolio requires a strong grasp of performance standards, and the successful candidate will oversee and drive compliance for the various cancer targets.

This role involves active engagement with and input into the NCL Cancer Alliance meetings, including joint working across multiple Trusts in order to provide streamlined pathways and equality in access of care for patients.
