Overview
Reporting to both the Technology Development and Embedded Control Team Leads, the control and electronics engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain our client's generators and embedded systems. The engineer will identify and fix technical issues, working collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and others on various teams. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, self-motivated, a keen self-starter, and able to complete work with minimal assistance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and build embedded systems, including embedded system firmware.
• Test and debug embedded systems.
• Monitor and maintain the system after development.
• Improve system efficiency and stability after development.
• Collaborate with customers and other departments to create systems based on their needs.
• Assist in the development of production processes and procedures.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure continuity of the manufacturing process.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in a controls/electronics-focused role.
• Significant programming experience in C or C++.
• Experience in embedded systems development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in program creation using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with Altium Design - Schematic capture, PCB Layout.
