This is a hand's on, fast paced role, that requires someone with a good level of technical knowledge, a flair for leading and managing a workshop and service advisor team, and a person who delights in providing our customers with a great level of service
Role: Service Centre Manager
You will manage the team within the Service Centre to ensure that we deliver a truly fantastic customer experience.
You will oversee the performance and quality of the Service Centre.
A minimum of 5 years' previous experience of directly managing a vehicle workshop environment and customer facing team- Great and effective direct team management and leadership skills that lead from the front and get the best from their team.
- Be able to demonstrate that they understand what best practice in the automotive sector looks like and they can bring this to our workshop operation
- A good understanding of fleet management customers and systems, such as 1link, fleet customers, leasing companies and maintenance and warranty providers.
- Able to demonstrate experience of managing all key compliance and safety elements of garage workshop environment.
- A good level of proficiency in IT skills, that are capable of deploying modern technology and systems in a workshop environment
- A good level of technical knowledge to support and manage the workshop team
- This person must be a confident self-starter, who is driven by results, and can lead their team to deliver the performance required of the business.
- Great commercial skills, that understands how to maximise the efficiency and profitability of a commercial garage workshop
- Ideally experience of managing an MOT centre would be preferable, but training can be provided
