My client is recruiting for an Assistant Drainage Operative who will be covering the Grangemouth area.
This is a temporary to permanent role working flexible day shifts Monday to Friday.
You may be required to work night shifts and work away from home as contracts and surveys demand.
What you’ll be doing as an Assistant Drainage Operative:
• Ensuring the safety of our Survey Operatives and members of the public
• Moving and handling heavy manhole covers
• Following instructions from your crew leader
• Being alert and monitoring the safety of your team members whilst they are underground
• Working at height and within a confined space
• No previous experience needed as full training is provided
Who we are looking for:
• Able to follow instructions
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• A flexible approach to working hours.
• Physically able to undertake all duties required (lifting/carrying etc.)
• Excellent health and safety awareness
• Basic written, verbal, numerical and IT skills
• Full UK driving licence
