About the Role

As a Lecturer in Research Development Fellow (Doctoral Training) Grade 9 you will:

Lead the coordination of the MRes
Contribute as a member of a team led by the Dean of the Graduate School, to the design, delivery, management and implementation of the core postgraduate researcher development programme
Contribute to the design, delivery, and evaluation of the University’s Research Development Programme
In order to undertake the above duties you will hold:

Experience of providing a range of support needs for postgraduate researchers
Knowledge of the researcher development agenda and doctoral education
Experience of contributing to postgraduate research development across the sciences, social sciences and arts & humanities
As a Lecturer in Research Development Fellow (Doctoral Training) Grade 10 you will:

Design, deliver, manage and evaluate summer schools for doctoral and pre-doctoral postgraduate researchers and early careers researchers
Design, develop, deliver, manage, and evaluate a Graduate School CPD offer
Evaluate, re-design, develop, deliver, and manage the University’s approach to research degree supervisor development
In order to undertake the above duties you will hold:

Experience of leadership of MRes provision and the development of pre-doctoral frameworks
Experience of leading the development and delivery of research degree summer schools and doctoral training events
Leadership of the design and delivery of research degree supervisor development activities
