About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Catalyst Communications Co-Ordinator to join our Library and Learning Services Department, you will be the forefront of enhancing student experience, fostering academic success and shaping the communication strategies of Library and Learning Services, Student Services and Careers. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated professionals and contribute to making a real impact on the student community. This role offers exciting challenges and the chance to contribute to a vibrant learning environment.

You will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, organising and delivering Catalyst marketing, communications, and student engagement activities. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the three large student support service areas, including Library and Learning Services, Student Services and Careers, you will facilitate cross-service initiatives to promote and deliver a cohesive approach to Catalyst communications.

About You

As Catalyst Communications Co-Ordinator you will have:

Excellent communication skills, to craft engaging content and manage diverse communication channels, and demonstrable experience in communications, marketing, or public relations, preferably within the education sector
Experience in manging digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, web content management systems and email marketing for effective promotion and engagement with our student community
Strong project management and organisation skills to mange the Catalyst calendar, coordinate key communications and ensure smooth and timely workflows.
The ability to collaborate, work and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both internal to Catalyst and across the wider University, fostering a cohesive approach to communications and implement across-service initiatives.
