Shift Technical Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Technical Officer to join our Quality Department. The successful candidate will ensure the production of safe, legal, and specification-compliant products from our business unit. They will be responsible for applying HACCP and meeting food safety requirements, while employing continuous improvement techniques.
Main Responsibilities:
- Raising GMP/Hygiene standards in production areas and ensuring compliance through internal auditing processes.
- Measuring compliance to traceability legislation by checking for traceability information on lines and raw materials.
- Controlling stock using SAP, FMS & WMS systems, including managing the hold procedure.
- Carrying out and leading investigations, raising appropriate paperwork with the team, and following up on corrective actions.
- Participating in Food Safety, BRCGS & Customer/3rd Party audits as required.
Key Requirements:
- Level 3 food safety (essential)
- Internal auditing (essential)
- Level 3 HACCP
- Experience of high care food manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills
- ability to deal with people at all levels, internally and externally.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP, FMS & WMS systems.
- Continual experience in a food safety-related environment.
- Open-minded approach to flexible/shift working.
- Attention to detail and a tenacious approach to resolving issues and implementing corrective actions.
