Crynodeb
Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in the South West who are seeking an Employment Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.
Role: Employment Lawyer
Location: Bristol - Hybrid working but office days might be required
Rate: £50.00-£60.00 Per hour
Contract Length: 12 Months (possibility of extension) / Part Time 2 days per week
Responsibilities
- Caseload will include multi-day ET hearings, preliminary hearings and judicial mediation.
- Experience needed of preparing cases including bundles and witness statements and dealing with unrepresented Claimants
- Flexibility needed across the week depending on caseload and dates of hearings.
- Must be local to attend office and Bristol ET as and when needed.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with current practising certificate
- Must have experience in employment law in the public sector
- Previous experience working in the local authority
