Summary
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Crane and/or Heavy Plant Fitter who has service and repair experience with either heavy plant machinery or cranes, mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills and experience dealing with hydraulics, is required for a well-established company based in Coventry, West Midlands.
We are looking for both a Plant Fitter and Crane Fitter
If you’ve previously worked as an Industrial Machinery Mechanic / Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic / Crane Mechanic or an Industrial Machinery Technician / Heavy Duty Equipment Technician / Crane Technician or within a similar role, then we would like to hear from you.
SALARY: Negotiable Depending on Experience (Shift Rate)
LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands (CV7)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00/17:30

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Crane and/or Heavy Plant Fitter who has service and repair experience with either heavy plant machinery or cranes, mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills and experience dealing with hydraulics.
Working as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Crane and/or Heavy Plant Fitter you will be based in a busy workshop environment repairing and maintaining the company’s current fleet of specialised plant and equipment.
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Crane and/or Heavy Plant Fitter you will have a professional attitude and a willingness to work hard.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Crane and/or Heavy Plant Fitter include:
• Service and repair on a large fleet of cranes, excavators, dumpers, general & heavy plant to the highest standards
• Using mechanical, electrical diagnostic skills
• Be able to suggest improvements to existing plants or processes, contributing towards plant innovation with the aim to reduce downtime
• Ensuring testing is completed on time every time in line with the latest regulations for PUWER and LOLER
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Experience dealing with hydraulics
• Experience working as a Plant and/or Crane Fitter
• Good mechanical, electrical diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving license
• Professional attitude and a willingness to work hard
• Desirable: CSCS (Company will pay for this training if not already gained)
