Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Day rate: £325 - £385 PAYE / Ltd
Project: Severn Trent Water Facility
Randstad are currently looking for an experineced Site Engineer to work on a large scale Severn Trent Water scheme in Solihul with an established contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct site surveys, prepare detailed engineering plans, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports on project progress, including site diaries, measurements, and quality checks.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in water treatment or related infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools for site planning and management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
