About The Role
To create and maintain a quality standard to the agreed specification within set time limits within a specific area.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard at all times.
- Adhere to company policies at all times.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.
- Undertake any reasonable task as requested by the site manager or supervisor.
- Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
- Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions
- Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities.Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety.
- Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
- Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company Procedure.
- Be actively involved with any site CSR activities which promote the company around the school and local community.
- NVQ level 2 in Healthcare and BICS cleaning certificate. Not essential as training will be given via IMPACT.
- Cleaning experience desired but not essential as training will be given.
- Must be a team player who is willing to work to strict deadlines.
- Ability to follow policy and procedures.
- Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels.
