About The Role

Job Title General Foreman | Location Perth PH2 8NN

The Caledonia Water Alliance is a partnership between AECOM and Morrison Water Services who support the delivery of the Scottish Water Capital Investment programme, we are responsible for delivery of the water infrastructure programme pan Scotland, we are recruiting a General Foreman to join our team.
As our next General Foreman, you’ll be instrumental in the support of your team, ensuring quality, Health & Safety and compliance standards are met, in line with Scottish Water’s established specifications and procedures. You will be responsible for site-based health, safety and environmental management and leadership to drive the highest standards.
To excel in this role you'll need have experience in water industry civil engineering works such as large diameter pipelaying, streetworks, deep excavations, temporary works and shafts & RC structures. You'll enjoy working with a team of individuals, leading a team of experts.
Your remit is to deliver the project to the agreed time, cost, and quality requirements. Input to the look-ahead program, ensuring activities are effectively managed and completed. Assist with change management during the project lifecycle. Implement mitigation plans for identified risks. Supervision of the direct labour force and site-based subcontracts. Conduct and record site-specific inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings. Assist in the management of customers impacted by the works.

The Key Requirements...

- Experience in water industry civil engineering works – large diameter pipelaying, streetworks, deep excavations, temporary works, shafts & RC structures
- SMSTS
- NRSWA Supervisor
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Scotland
- Experience of managing the development of the allocated members of the team
