AXA prides itself on having an in-house investigations team (ACIT), who investigate across both the Commercial and Retail Business areas. Due to an increase in motor cases for investigation being received, we require an additional Field Investigator based in London and the South East.
As a Field Investigator, you’ll be responsible for investigating primarily motor personal injury claims and any other investigations adopted by ACIT such as home and travel cases. This will require the interviewing of relevant parties and assembling of field intelligence to progress the investigation into liability, indemnity, quantum and fraud.
At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning this is a field based role. You’ll travel to visit offices or client sites in London and the South-East.
Working Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week over 5 days. There may be some unsociable hours but as you'll arrange your own appointments, you're empowered to do what it takes to meet customer expectations whilst maintaining your own work-life balance.
What you’ll be doing:
Investigate motor personal injury claims and others as required.
Site visits/travel to customers and working from your desk at home with limited operational support.
Representing AXA in face-to-face dealings with our policyholders, providing technically accurate and helpful advice to represent the company.
Interview instructed parties face-to-face or by telephone, be it policyholder, driver, witness, police or other relevant party and obtain detailed signed statements in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures.
Attend accident scenes (locus) and provide factual reports with findings in accordance with procedures.
Undertake various ad-hoc field intelligence enquiries, often self-motivated and provide factual reports with findings in accordance with agreed procedures.
On conclusion of all investigations, a comprehensive final report will need to be compiled and submitted.
Having the ability to work with own initiative displaying excellent time management skills.
Open to being involved in internal projects and initiative with the opportunity to lead on internal change programmes.
Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.
