How to contribute to our vision
We are looking for a Group Lead to join the team at the Hull Blade Factory, United Kingdom. As a Group Lead you will be responsible for the overall activities of the shift and leading a team of Team Leaders and supervise the production operatives.
This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team within a dynamic business, delivering innovation to the Renewable Energy and Industry.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
Responsible for delivery of SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People) and ensuring key KPI targets are achieved across the shift
Ensuring the correct reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses and unsafe acts and condition
Ensuring optimum utilization of resources
Ensuring manufacturing guidelines, processes, and procedures are followed to ensure safe delivery of a high-quality product on time every time
Leading and supervising assigned Team Leaders and Operatives across a wide area of disciplines
Clear, concise, and effective communications to your team.
Responsible for performance management across the team
Effective and thorough implementation of the blade handover process
Leading team in ensuring correct Prisma bookings are adhered to with full understanding of routing importance, managing own teams spend budget for workwear and consumables
Management of competence across the operational area
Ownership of the HR process for all employees within operational are
Hold constructive feedback dialogues to ensure right first time performance is achieved.
Ownership of operational standards including but not limited to 5S, housekeeping, short interval control and process validation.
Ownership of takt adherence and line balancing across operational area
Ownership for the review of all task related risk assessment within the operational area
Ability to work a shift pattern that includes working days, nights and weekends
