Marketing Assistant

Contract Type: PERMANENT

Hours of work: 38 Hours. Monday - Friday

Location: SPAR Distribution Centre, Bowland View, Preston, PR2 5QT

Rate of Pay: Competitive.

About the Role

This is an exciting time for our marketing department, and we are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for a Marketing
Assistant to join us on a permanent basis. Supporting the wider team, you will take part in several initiatives and help us to
develop our marketing strategy across offline platforms.

Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

You will work closely with the Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager, supporting them on strategy, implementation and ad hoc
marketing. Below are just some of the duties of this role:

* Assist with the planning and implementation of in-store promotions, by facilitating promotions meetings and being responsible
for the creation of our promotional guides.

* Support the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to help drive sales and profit in our stores.

* Liaise with a wide range of stake holders from across the business to implement our marketing strategy to the highest possible
standard.

* Maintenance of relevant data bases and spreadsheets.

* Provide support with our in-store print solution.



A Few Things About You

We need you to be creative, well organised, have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to solving
problems. Above all else though, we want you to have a real passion for marketing! Some experience in a similar role and the use
