We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Trainee Engine Builder at our renowned light aircraft engine overhaul shop based in St Neots.
As a Trainee Engine Builder, you'll dive into the world of piston engine building with hands-on training both in-house and externally, which will lead to build certificates from Engine manufacturers, such as Lycoming and Continental. You'll be part of a close-knit team in a small, friendly company with just 15 employees, ensuring personalised guidance and a supportive environment.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Mechanical Passion: A background in mechanics from the aero, motor, or agricultural industry. Formal qualifications aren't necessary – your enthusiasm and experience speak volumes!
• Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical Fitness: Good physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity
• Team Spirit: Strong ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Location: Preferably local to St Neots or from an easily commutable area
