We are looking for an experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead our wonderful team here at Tylney Hall Hotel. This position will be a senior management role overseeing all aspects of housekeeping and Laundry within a luxury country house hotel. Attention to detail, strong people management skills and commercial acumen will all be required to fulfil this role successfully.

An excellent opportunity to work with additional departments and collaborate with Senior Managers across the Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Elite Values are embedded into the every day culture of the Housekeeping and Laundry teams whilst utilising the Guest Service and Personnel & Development Strategies.

  • Proactively manage and coordinate recruitment for the division and monitor applications coming through via Recruit Genie to ensure applicants are processed and progressed within prompt timescales.

  • Plan and assist with scheduling & facilitating training and coaching of the service standards to Housekeeping & Laundry Team.

  • Complete regular stocktakes of linen and other items such as guest and cleaning supplies to ensure that supplies are securely stored to avoid loss and pilferage

  • Take a proactive approach to monitoring the Hotels overall performance, including monthly management accounts, online reviews and Revinate reports.

  • Ensure equipment is looked after and maintained correctly by all members of the Laundry & Housekeeping teams.
