An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to work within our ADHD/ASD Service, where we offer Diagnosis and post-diagnosis support for ASD.

We are a small, but developing multi-disciplinary Team based within Mental Health Services at Stepping Hill Hospital. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent patient centered care to people living in the Stockport Borough and strive to maintain and uphold our Trust values.






• The postholder is identified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Trust.
• The postholder will have extensive knowledge of Adult ADHD/ASD speciality.
• The post holder must be able to show evidence of relevant post basic study.
• The post holder will have the responsibility for developing a nurse led clinic for
adults with ADHD/ASD.
• The post holder will take the lead in the extending role and response to young people and their families who are waiting for or have a diagnosis of ADHD and developing new ways of monitoring in the community.

• To deliver managerial and clinical supervision, including with appropriate consent, recording and reviewing of live clinical work.
• To develop a nurse led clinic/service for adults with ADHD/ASD in consultation with the ADHD Clinical Nurse Specialist, adult psychiatrists, primary care and Service Manager.
• To provide consultation to workers from other agencies in relation to adults accessing the Service.
• Deliver evidence based intervention.
• To carry on outpatient case load in a treatment modality that enhances the range of treatments offered by the Service.
• Develop a healthy working relationship with adult services, third sector providers and primary care colleagues.
• The post holder may be asked to provide consultation and training on a wide range of adult’s emotional health and well-being issues to professionals from a range of services including GP’s, Early Help and Primacy Care Services and Mental Health Services
• To engage in/deliver managerial and clinical supervision, including with appropriate consent, recording and reviewing of live clinical work.
• The post holder will be responsible in ensuring collection of relevant information required by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust e.g. Outcomes, PARIS, diagnosis etc.
• To routinely monitor effectiveness of clinical work by use of Routine Outcome Measures (ROM) and where outcomes are not improving engage in clinical review via peer review meetings and supervision.
• To identify and develop strategies to manage risk to the adult and others in line with Pennine Care policies, procedures and protocols.

Managerial:
• To provide management and clinical supervision to band 6 nurses/ therapists as directed by service manager.
• Responsibility for managing the budget associated with ADHD/ASD service.

Audit and Evaluation:
• To participate in collection of statistical information to support overall evaluation of service delivery.
• To review and evaluate developments in relation to ADHD/ASD pilot Service, and support with overall evaluation of the pilot service.
