If you are good at building a rapport with a wide range of people and own a positive outlook, then our Sales Assistant role at Dulux Decorator Centre is for you. This role is all about providing great customer service to professionals & DIY enthusiasts alike.
The role
This is a part time 30 hour per week role, and you need to be available to work shifts as follows:
Monday to Friday 11am to 5pm
Saturday 8am to midday once per month, 8am - 12pm with time off in lieu
A driving license is required as you may need to visit to support nearby stores and with regular trips to Slough for product training at our Academy
* Mix paint to customer requirements
* Engage with customers and provide product advice
* Collaborate with colleagues to reach store targets
* Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
* Provide feedback to improve our overall service to customers
* Provide great customer service
About you
* Strong customer service skills. ideally, you should have a background in sales and retail
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
* Calm under pressure
* Able to operate electronic tills
* Enjoys ongoing coaching & support to advance career & build skills
* Likes a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key
