Location: We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), London, Manchester and Edinburgh and working between office and remote throughout the week.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with data engineering know-how to join our busy Surveys department, responsible for producing massive, high-profile statistics and pieces of research about our nation.
Specifically, you'd be joining the Social Survey Transformation division, tasked with transforming how social statistics are measured and produced for the future. Using your expertise, with our support and guidance, you will focus on the continued development of one of our internal systems as part of our technical team.
In the role, you will get involved in testing, correcting and documenting the scripts and programs you produce (with our guidance), and you'll produce everything with a focus on repeatability and re-usability.
Technologically speaking, you're familiar working with data and building data pipelines using PySpark, Python and SQL.
We also utilise R, Flask, CSS & JavaScript - but if you've never used these, don't worry! We'll support you to learn them on the job.
