Healthy Child Programme , Brighton and Hove 0-5 Specialist Health Visitor-Infant feeding Lead
We have an opportunity for a SCPHN to Join our HCP Infant feeding team in Brighton and Hove and be the Specialist HV lead
The post is to manage the City wide infant feeding team who are working towards full Baby friendly Initiative UNICEF accreditation.
The post is based at Tarner family hub in the city centre but will be expected to travel across the city to be visible in the other hubs and attend team lead meetings.
The post is full time, although part time can be negotiated

Infant Feeding Team- Specialist Health visitor Lead
We are seeking a Health Visitor to be the Lead to manage The Brighton and Hove Infant feeding team . You should have a good clinical knowledge of Infant feeding and be prepared to do the UNICEF training and potentially the IBLC lactation consultant course if appropriate.
This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic SCPHN - Health Visitor who wishes to maintain clinical expertise whilst developing management and supervision skills and leading a 0-5 HCP Infant Feeding team in line with the Healthy Child Programme, including local and national priorities.
The 0-5 IFT includes Health Visitors, Lactation Consultants, Peer support Coordinator and administrative staff.
The Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust Healthy Child Programme is working towards full UNICEF Baby Friendly accreditation , this includes a programme of training, auditing and developing the Infant feeding community to ensure consistency of evidenced based Infant feeding support across the city.
You will also be responsible for managing the specialist breastfeeding service and the peer support program
You will receive a full induction and have a peer mentor . You will be supported by a clinical service manager, the existing Hub team lead and the wider team lead colleagues.
