Summary
Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Bournemouth – Travel between sites required.
Job type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: circa £45,000 per annum
Our reputable client has a requirement for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their busy team based at their head office in Bournemouth. This is an exciting time for the facilities team as they are going through a programme of transformation and this position will play a key role in helping to shape the future direction of the facilities management service and team.
Responsibilities:
- The operational delivery of a first-class facilities management service.
- Managing, developing and coaching the facilities management team.
- Compliance with health and safety regulation and procedures.
- Procurement, tendering and appointment of our contractors and suppliers.
- Developing and managing of planned and preventative maintenance systems.
- Project management and delivery of facilities management projects.
- Development of facilities standards, policies and processes.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years recent facilities management experience with a competent understanding of the technical areas of workplace, facilities and health and safety management. You must be able to demonstrate experience of managing and developing a facilities team and managing change. Effective and proven communication skills are a must.
An industry relevant qualification would be desirable.
The position is offered on a permanent basis with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
