Are you an AAT graduate, or an individual with previous experience in finance/accounts looking for a new challenge within a global organisation?
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our accounting team in Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire in a hybrid capacity (split of working in the office and from home). In this role you will join our existing team and help to provide effective and professional accounts support to multiple NSF locations.
If you are a pro-active, forward thinking individual with an AAT qualification, or someone with previous experience in accounts, would love to hear from you!
Principal accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, research errors and work with appropriate departments and members of management to identify and improve/correct process or accounts that may have repetitive problems
- Complete journal entries and other month-end duties as outlined on the close list or as requested
- Perform transaction analysis and/or trouble-shooting to provide information to management as requested
- Identify and recommend process improvement initiatives for department
- Work collaboratively with international offices to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist with preparation of VAT returns, corporation tax returns and year end statutory audit
QUALIFICATIONS:
- AAT qualification, or previous experience in a finance role
- A good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Oracle Financials (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience with foreign entities (advantageous but not essential)
