Our client is a highly reputable market leader in both the UK and Europe within the PROPERTY sector, and looking for a National Sales Manager to cover the security (CCTV, Alarms, Patrols etc) side of the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a business development manager with a security background looking to use their knowledge and expertise within the security industry to further their career. This role will be reporting into the National Operations Manager and you will be responsible for your own diary. The prospects are vast with this role as this company have impressive expansion plans, and for the right person this role will develop into managing your own team.

This role will be based at one of their UK offices in Birmingham covering the UK, however this will be partly hybrid.

The primary role of the Sales Manager will be the effective management of all aspects of the security sales of the business. You will be responsible for sales, customer services as well as helping steer the direction the business will take.

You will also provide a professional interface with the public, ensuring that the necessary marketing and advertising material is produced in line with the companies commercial strategy.

The Role

Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve the companies security product and services sales targets.
Identify and prospect new clients within the target market segments including and government agencies, to generate sales businesses, institutions, leads.
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their security needs, and providing appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of the companies security offerings.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand the companies network and identify new business opportunities.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security technologies, trends, and best practices, and recommend appropriate security solutions to enhance the companies security posture.
Prepare and present sales reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
Strong communicator and command of spoken and written English language.
