Crynodeb
The role of the hospital practitioner in cardiology is to support our specialist service under the supervision of a nominated secondary care consultant. The post holder will see patients in the outpatient setting under the supervision of a named consultant. The post holder will also initiate and interpret clinical investigations. The post holder willcommunicate with the patient and referring GP with diagnosis and any further management and recommendations that may be required. The successful applicant would be part of the Cardiology team and would need to be available to undertake 1 morning clinic on a Wednesday at Kidderminster Treatment Centre. Flexibility with the exact working pattern is possible after discussion with the nominated consultant. There will also be the opportunity to attend MDT meetings.
