An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0.4 WTE permanent position as a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist with an interest in working in staff wellbeing.

The role will based with the Staff Wellbeing Service at NUH to help support the work of staff wellbeing mental health practitioners and develop new training programmes, resources and support mechanisms/systems for line managers to better support staff with mental health concerns. The post holder will not have line management responsibility but may be required to provide clinical support/supervision for a range of other staff as part of the role.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist with an interest in supporting the psychological wellbeing of our staff.

The Team is led by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist for staff wellbeing and supported by other areas across the hospital. We are looking for a clinical psychologist with an interest in and experience of staff wellbeing and/or trauma support to deliver elements of the programme as well as contribute to the ongoing mental health wellbeing team offer in the Staff Wellbeing Team.

The post holder will be employed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Our office base is at QMC although you will be required to travel and deliver initiatives across all 3 main campuses. Applicants must have the personal qualities and resilience to be able to work in a busy acute trust setting.

-A strong interest in staff wellbeing

-Enthusiasm for and past experience of developing and delivering group interventions/training sessions

-Experience in staff wellbeing and/or trauma support

-Evidence of significant knowledge and substantial post doctorate experience of working in clinical health psychology

-Experience of clinical supervision/support of other staff
