Summary
Position: Nepalese Chef
Employer: NEWA BROTHERS LTD
Location: ALDERSHOT
Salary: £26-29K Per Annum
Working days / hours: 39 to 45 hours within a 5 to 6 day week
Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), employer’s pension contribution and meals on duty.
Strong all round kitchen skills as all items are produced inhouse from stretch. Excellent knowledge of regional Nepalese cuisine with specific expertise in preparation, blending and marinating of regional spices for use in Nepalese dishes. Confers closely and regularly with the Second Chef and takes every opportunity to become familiar with all aspects of his or her position, in order to be ready to fill in whenever required. Adheres to all health, sanitation and food safety rules and regulations, and makes sure all staff adheres to these. To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:
• Eligibility to live and work in UK
• Experience or equivalent qualification at required level (At least Three Year)
In addition you should also:
• Have worked in an Indian & Nepalese restaurant and catering establishments and be familiar with the cuisine (though not essential)
• Be performance, achievement and results driven
• Have an eye for detail
• Have critical thinking and on the problem solving skill
• Possess an empathic and pleasing personality
• Able to work well with others
• Creative, energetic and passionate about delivering excellence
• A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual
• FAST PACED AND BE ABLE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE
