Location: Berkshire

Type: Full-Time (Temporary with Permanent option)

Working Hours; 08:30 am - 16:00 pm.

Salary: Paid to Teacher Scale.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special needs. As the main class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised education to our students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

We are working with a dedicated Special Needs School committed to providing exceptional education and support to students with a range of special needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, and complex needs. Our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Classroom Management: Lead a class of students with varying special needs, maintaining an organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.

Lesson Planning: Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that meet the individual learning needs and goals of each student.

Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials to support diverse learning styles and needs.

IEPs: Contribute to the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student, ensuring their educational goals are met.

Behavioral Support: Implement and support positive behavior strategies, working closely with other staff to manage and address challenging behaviors.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student education and wellbeing.
