Summary

The unique and exciting role of Integration Manager is core to the leadership, development and delivery of clinical academic integration and transformation, with significant contributions to development of strategic plans across the Partnership.

The postholder will take up a key leadership position at an exciting time in an established programme to lead the development and coordination of a portfolio of work that will include clinical-academic integration within Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Critical Care, as well as supporting core partnership strategic priorities.

Our context is complex and dynamic, responding to the needs of the partners as much as delivering on agreed plans. As such, the postholder will work with senior clinical and operational roles, as well as academic leaders, patients, public and broader system networks to create transformational change. Integration managers are key leadership roles and experts in their field, as well as being senior team members working in a matrix environment with other team members on our strategic priorities.

We have two Integration Manager posts available (either fixed term or secondment). This is an exciting and influential role for which we welcome applications from experienced highly motivated senior change programme managers/leads, or operational or clinical colleagues who have significant experience of delivering complex systems service change and integration.

Lead the development and co-ordination of a portfolio of work including clinical-academic integration and transformation in one or more clinical specialties within respiratory or cardiovascular services, and supporting the development of clinical-academic centres of excellence.

The postholder will also support and contribute to one or more core enablers such as clinical configuration and estates, research and education, quality improvement, digital and technology, benefit and value identification, and population health.

Post holders will work very closely with senior clinical, academic and operational leaders, across partner organisations and the wider system. As a senior member of the partnership programme team they will be responsible for driving delivery of the partnership’s strategic objectives, including delivering a ‘one team, multiple sites’ model of care.

Integration managers will take a leadership role in their area of expertise, working closely and collaboratively with the whole team to support skill development and matrix working approach that ensures a quality of delivery and outcomes across the whole portfolio.

The overall programme is ambitious, diverse and adaptive, in line with changing context and emerging projects. The postholder will need to be flexible in their approach and be able to lead and manage a small team, as well as operate in this matrix environment, taking on some assignment management of other colleagues.

We are a small but high performing and respected team that works across the partners of King’s Health Partners in support of the partnership’s vision for cardiac, respiratory and critical care clinical service, education and research:
