Summary

You will work as part of a Multi Disciplinary Team, which includes Dietetics, Psychology and Therapy Support Staff The successful post holder will be required to support with the design and establishment of this new service, developing patient focused pathways within ARFID. The role will require the post holder participate within multi-disciplinary assessments and clinics along with completing specialist Occupational Therapy assessments jointly with other members of the ARFID service as required. The successful post holder will be expected to engage in relevant service and professional networks across Wales and the United Kingdom as part of service design, service development, clinical governance and to improve clinical practice. As this is a new area of practice, training will be provided as required to the successful candidate. Applications are invited from occupational therapists with demonstrable experience in working with children and young people, or from occupational therapists with experience in working with people with Eating Disorders. The post holder will be expected to travel across the Health Board footprint with mileage allowance payable and a lease car scheme is available.
