An exciting opportunity has arisen within Woodbridge’s well established integrated neighbourhood team. We are looking for a generic worker to
work predominantly with the therapy team who is passionate, committed, innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivate to delivering high quality
care within patient’s homes.

Woodbridge is a beautiful small town with a very aging population. The therapy team work from one base but visits are scheduled geographically
from Kesgrave and Martlesham to Wickham market and Orford.

You will be committed to team work, delivering high quality patient care and have a desire for on-going professional development. You will be required to undertake the generic worker care certificate programme within the first 12 weeks of appointment.

You will need to be able to meet the needs of this service by being available to work flexibly between the hours of 08.00 – 18.00 on a rota basis
over a 7day period.

The Generic workers are an important part of the team supporting the Occupational therapists and physiotherapists as well as managing their own caseloads providing holistic care in the comfort of people’s homes. The generic workers are highly skilled and provide care such as assessing
patients general mobility, ordering and delivering equipment and completing rehabilitation programmes.

You will not only be working alongside other Community occupational therapists and physiotherapists but also with a team of other skilled Generic Support Workers, District and community nurses, team administration colleagues and our social services colleagues.


This is an opportunity to work within a well knowledgeable experienced team and wider MDT. Candidates should be flexible, motivated and able to
work within a changing environment. We will provide support through in-house professional forums, Mandatory training, 1:1 and personal
development meetings as well as clinical rolling skills training via the practice development facilitators.
