About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Security Engineer to join our IT Services Team, this is a growing team with a wide range of responsibilities across the University. This role provides an excellent platform giving you the ability to acquire and develop a multitude of skills to further your career.
You will work closely across all IT Service divisions to plan, deliver and support a range of security related projects, acting as one of the University’s subject matter experts in information security and provide advice on IT Security polices, strategies and procedures to maintain compliance standards and certifications, and further promote IT security awareness and best practice across all levels of the institution.

About You
As IT Security Engineer you will have:
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, demonstrate initiative and have a deep curiosity of all things technical
Experience and skills within IT professional, ideally with a recognised IT security qualification
Experience of security technologies, operating systems, system administration and scripting languages
