Crynodeb

An exciting opportunity has arisen within I-Art for a permanent full time I-Art Officer role within the team. I-Art is the first point of contact for the public and professionals who wish to make a referral in relation to children and their families.
The role of an I-Art Officer is to provide the first point of contact to all professionals and public enquires to the Integrated Access and Referral Team. This will involve call handling and dealing with telephone enquiries from Council staff, other agencies and members of the public and will include enquiries received via other forms of communication, such as email or post.

Our Children's Social Care workforce is passionate and committed to improving outcomes for Children in our authority by providing a consistent, high quality service to families together with the support from excellent leadership and management. It is an exciting time to join our authority. We are very proud that Ofsted have rated us as one of the top performing Children’s Services in the country; receiving overall “good” in our 2015 inspection and retaining “good” in our recent inspection in 2019.

Our recent inspection has acknowledged that our children benefit from a stable and resilient workforce, who have access to a comprehensive learning and development package, and who are supported to develop experience through an embedded ‘grow our own’ approach to progression. We are approved as a Partner in Practice with the Department of Education and have won "Overall council of the Year" and "Best Innovation" awards in 2018. We are developing and embedding Our Ways of Working with our multi-agency partners in order to ensure improved collaboration and one common approach to practice utilising Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Practice.

As a local authority, we have developed an inspirational offer to support and develop our valued workforce, including;

* high quality progression and developmental opportunities

* work-life balance, flexible and remote working arrangements available

* competitive working rewards

* high quality supervision

* strong reflective practice framework

Interviews will be held week commencing 5th Aug 2024

Yn gyffredinol, bydd cyflogwr Hyderus o ran Anabledd yn cynnig cyfweliad i unrhyw ymgeisydd sy'n datgan eu bod yn anabl ac yn bodloni'r meini prawf lleiaf ar gyfer y swydd fel y diffinnir gan y cyflogwr. Mae'n bwysig nodi, mewn rhai sefyllfaoedd recriwtio fel nifer fawr o ymgeiswyr, cyfnod tymhorol ac amseroedd prysur iawn, efallai y bydd y cyflogwr am gyfyngu ar y niferoedd cyffredinol o gyfweliadau a gynigir i bobl anabl a phobl nad ydynt yn anabl.
