Exciting Opportunity in the Imaging Department at Newham University
Hospital to lead the CT department as a Modality Lead. This role is open to a link Grade 7 to 8A dependant on skills & experience.
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Join us at Newham University Hospital's Imaging Department. We are looking for dynamic and forward-thinking individuals to manage the day-to-day operations of our CT unit. Our fully digital Imaging Department is equipped with:

• 2 MRI scanners (with a second one being installed by April 2025)
• 2 CT scanners
• 5 digital x-ray rooms featuring new Samsung x-ray Imaging units
• Fluoroscopy suite
• Significantly sized Ultrasound unit

This year, we will perform a significant number of exams for our local community, and we need someone passionate about patient care to help us continue our journey of excellence and innovation.
• Manage the daily operations of the modality.
• Deputise for the Site Lead when necessary.
• Act as the Radiation Protection Supervisor for your area and undertake
relevant training.
• Perform duties related to incident, risk and equipment management.
• Lead projects and support the team in innovative practices.
• 50% clinical presence as part of your role
