About the role of Gas Engineer
This is a role that is diverse and interesting, as no two days are the same. You will be able to develop your engineering skills and the business is known for investing in training and development opportunities for its employees, helping them to further their careers.
Responsibilities for Gas Engineer
- You will be carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc
- You will also need to carry out reactive and emergency tasks and expected to complete all tasks using handheld technology effectively
- You'll monitor visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety
Requirements for Gas Engineer
- COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1)
- TPCP1 & TPCP1A
- FGAS and ODS essential
- HWSS - Vented & Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems essential
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
