Crynodeb
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive administrative andclerical service is provided to Royal Free London Pathology Services department and will manage a team of staff who will deliver the following:
• Responsible for allocating the weekly MDT rota and ensuring that there is adequate clerical support across Histopathology and Clinical Biochemistry
• Being a second line manager including having significant input in all areas of HR issues, including recruitment and selection, managing leave and absence, dealing with capability and performance issues, and managing disciplinary processes when the need arises.
• Supporting and coordinating the validation and feedback of clinical pathwaysfor Pathology patients on the PTL.
• Identifying and resolving data quality issues which impact on the accuracy of information held electronically and on paper.
• Management teamfor Pathology department. Being an ambassadorforproviding exemplary customer care to patients, relatives, visitors and staff.
• To develop and maintain good working relationships with clinical leads and specialty leads.
• Within the given area of responsibility to use experience and judgment to provide appropriate advice and guidance, referring to the PathologyService Manager as necessary.
