A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Bodyshop Vehicle Technician at our Cold Meece Refurbishment and Defleet site.
This role will require the candidate to ensure the polishing and presentation of
all cars leaving the Bodyshop are completed to a high standard.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Polish all makes of cars to customer standards.
• Polish both fresh and original paint finish.
• Ability to read and follow instructions on job cards.
• Ability to colour match and touch in paintwork.
• Ability to flatten and remove scratches from paintwork and polish back up.
• Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with a special emphasis on health and safety in
the workplace.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Polisher in a similar environment.
• Ability to touch in or flatten and polish minor defects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
HOURS OF WORK:
• 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 42.5 hours per week.
