We are welcoming applications for a Playworker to work in our Out of School Club, located within Evenlode Primary School. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected team that delivers high quality childcare.
About the Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced, energetic, enthusiastic and caring persons to join our childcare team in the safe, effective and fun delivery of inclusive play activities.
You need to have the desire to support children of all abilities within the play setting. Working as part of a team you will be involved in the planning and delivery of fun and creative play opportunities for children aged 4yrs to 11 yrs.
About you
You will need a good standard of education to GCSE. Ideally but not essential coupled with a relevant Level 1 / 2 qualification in Playwork, or an equivalent related childcare qualification.
An understanding of the importance of play for children is desirable with an aptitude for organising fun activities indoors and outdoors in all weather. Knowledge and understanding of the importance of Safeguarding, although training on the job will be given. You will also have the ability to communicate with both children and adults. Candidates would need to be willing to undertake any relevant training and continued professional development
DBS Check Required: Enhanced
