The Liverpool Confucius Institute is seeking to employ an Administrator and PA to the Institute’s Deputy Directors. As administrator, you will provide general administrative support to the Liverpool Confucius Institute (LCI). In addition, you will provide a range of support services to the Deputy Directors (Liverpool and Chinese) of the LCI. You will be the recognised point of contact within the Institute for administrative activities, offering advice and guidance on university policies and procedures to staff, students and external organisations as required. You will work closely with the Marketing Administrator particularly in relation to the organisation of LCI events. Your work within the school will be to provide administrative support for key projects, whilst providing general support to other members of the HLC Operations support Team. You will be supported by colleagues in the wider School of Histories, Languages and Cultures, the Operations Support Team, Finance Team and the Marketing, Recruitment and Events Team. You will be required to develop excellent working relationships with key School and University professional services departments, as well as individuals and organisations that engage with the Institute. The LCI is part of the Department of Languages, Cultures and Film (LCF), part of the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures (HLC) which sits within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. You will have 3 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
