The role
As a Signalling Installer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Babcock supports Network Rail and other rail industry customers in providing a safe, reliable and efficient rail network across the UK.

Day to day, you'll help with the installation of signalling equipment across the railway lines in Northern Ireland.

  • Train Protection Warning Systems and Automatic Warning Systems
  • Service and repair
  • Reactive troubleshooting
  • Assisting new location case

This role is full time on site, primarily based out of Belfast, with travel across Northern Ireland.

Essential experience of the Signalling Installer:

  • Experience in Signalling and Telecoms
  • IRSE Licence
  • Undertaken Technical signalling courses

This role is on a roster of 140 hours over 4 weeks and your hours will vary within this. There is a roster premium paid as well as time and a half for any overtime. The roster of hours is 140 hours over four weeks.

Qualifications for the Signalling Installer:

  • IRSE Licence
  • Signalling modules SMTH, Mod 3C, Mod 5 desirable.
  • TSC desirable.
