The successful applicant needs to have successfully completed the Think Ahead programme in Haringey. They will need to be a registered Social Worker and willing to work in a MDT .

This role will ensure the development of strength-based, multi-disciplinary working and social components of mental health care within the Haringey division.

To work as a member of the multidisciplinary Community Locality Team, the role will require the post holder to :

·Provide effective care and specialist advice for people with complex mental health needs and their carers/significant others, to support their wellbeing and recovery.

·Liaise with other agencies in planning and assessing programmes of care

·Provide formal, on-going clinical supervision and caseload management supervision to junior and less experienced community mental health staff, as directed.

·Undertake duties designed to extend clinical and managerial expertise as delegated by the manager when required. This will include deputising in the absence of the Senior Practitioner.



The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.

In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
