Job Title: Events & Hires Operations Coordinator

Deadline for applications: Monday 15th July 2024

Reports to: Events & Hires Operations Manager

About The Glasshouse International Centre for Music

We’re a place where you can hear rock legends or pop icons on the same night as folk trios or opera singers. Where new musicians
are nurtured and showcased on the same stages as platinum- selling performers. And where youth choirs and tambourine- shaking
toddlers practice in the same spaces as our acclaimed orchestra Royal Northern Sinfonia.

Whether you’re front of house, waiting in the wings or keeping things running behind the scenes you will be part of a team that
means 2 million people enjoy top – notch gigs, concerts and classes in our own venue at Gateshead Quays, out in communities across
the North East and through live- streamed performances and digital lessons.

Feet stop. Eyes pop. Jaws drop.

That what we all want, isn’t it? Events that make people feel something. Or do something.

And that’s what we create every single day – whether it’s the elegant glamour of award ceremonies, the buzz of a brand launch or
the gravitas of international medical conventions and political party conferences.

From our gorgeous glass-domed space and amazing acoustics and lighting to our teams of seasoned event planners and detail-loving
tech support, we’re always working to wow each person who walks through our doors.

About the role

international associations to well-known household brands. But that's not all—we also open our doors to schools, amateur choirs,

Join our team and dive into exciting projects like multi-day exclusive building hire conferences, glamorous gala dinners, epic
concerts and shows for up to 2,500 school kids, live media broadcasts, trade expos, and even location filming and photography.

You'll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, leveraging our unique venue and top-notch expertise to craft unforgettable
experiences tailored to each client's goals and budgets.

Get ready to plan and deliver a diverse lineup of events for associations, corporate clients, charities, and private groups. As
